There are various kinds of sleep problems. Each problem needs different way of handling. Sometimes, some problems require medical psychiatrist intervention.
Insomnia
Insomnia is a sleep disorder that happen in patients with syndromes that is always feeling tired and exhausted all day and constantly (more than ten days) have difficulty to sleep or always wake up at night and can not go back to sleep. The patient often wake up earlier than wanted and can not go back to sleep. There are three types of insomnia disorders, namely: disturbed sleep (sleep onset insomnia), always wake up in the middle of the night (sleep maintenance insomnia), and always wake up much more quickly than desired (early insomnia Awakening). Apnea is a serious sleep disorder. More than 5 million Americans have this disorder. Apnea occurs because of fluctuations or irregular rhythm of heart rate and blood pressure. When it attacks, the patient suddenly fell drowsy and asleep. Patients experience difficulty in breathing and even apnea stops breathing during sleep when stricken with this disorder. Fluctuations in heart rate and high blood pressure can cause instantaneous death in patients.
